Dear loved ones Happy Palm Sunday!! Easter is next Sunday, this is Holy week. We love to read about the miracles Jesus performed, we are grateful for His sacrifice and we love and appreciate His example to us all of how to do hard things with great love. Holy Thursday and Friday are days we usally spend in the temple. Since we are not able to go this year due to our assignment, please will you go for us?!   What a wonderful time in the MTC The Spirit is strong in the MTC   We entered the MTC on Monday, March 11th 2024. There are so many couples going on missions that we were placed into a hotel close by. Here is a picture they took of us all in front of the MTC entrance. We are in the middle.      Tuesday night is a devotional, it was amazing with Elder Quentin L Cook as the speaker. He spoke to the missionaries with the upmost respect and love. We felt his love and could feel his dedication to our Savior, Jesus Christ. He and his wife showed us a vide...
Today is an amazing day! Every day is a gift, I suspect that is why it is called the "Present".  Our designated time to head to the MTC is on Monday, March 11th at 10 am.  We just received a call from the MTC telling us that because of the influx of couples coming on Monday (due to Elder Rasband's General Conference talk) we will be staying at a hotel close to the MTC.  For the record, we had the missionary portal open filling out our call before he gave the talk--kind of stole our thunder! haha, it's all good. 🌞 Today has promise! Begin the day by doing something kind for yourself and others. Find your center. Your center is where you find your best self, and your higher self. The world can be a harsh place, but it doesn't have to be. Treat yourself to some of your "favorites." This morning we are excited to go to the temple. We'll need to squeeze it into the day, but that's ok.  We also need to choose a favorite scripture that our ward will pu...

Thursday, September 28th, 2023 was  just a normal day, until Dave was presented the option of retiring. We went to our shift at the Timpanogas temple Friday morning to ponder and confirm our decision. By the end of our shift, we knew that retirement was the right thing for us to do, and go on a mission! This was always our wish, only it was the eighteen month plan, now it is our next chapter in the story of our life. We were able to get all of our medical, dental exams and paperwork finished and submitted by the next Friday. It was a miracle!! Actually, it was several miracles. Dave retired on October 31st 2023.  We received our mission call on the same day.....That is why some of us are wearing Halloween clothes and costumes. ")   We got together as a family to read our mission call. Bryce was away acting as clergy for friends who got married, so he was on a zoom call as we read the letter. It was a very special time.  It came as such a wonderful surprise to re...
